Our Social Enterprises
Through our tertiary education services, we offer young people (aged 15+) the opportunity to undertake work-based learning in one of our social enterprises at The Skills Academy. We provide high quality products and services to the general public and local businesses while equipping young people with the skills, experience and qualifications needed for today’s job market.
The Skills Academy
The Skills Academy is based in the heart of Renfrewshire and offers a number of services:
Auto Mechanics
All aspects of car servicing and maintenance, MOT, valeting, winter checks, tyres and body repairs.
Construction
Bespoke children’s playgrounds, fencing, decking, garden furniture and general maintenance.
Gardening
Hard and soft landscaping, garden maintenance, timber structures, fencing, paving, raised beds and planters.
Gardening Machinery Maintenance
Servicing and maintenance of all types of garden machinery, including lawnmowers, and garden tool sharpening.
