Kibble’s fostering service provides safe, loving homes for children and young people who are unable to live with their birth families. Together with foster carers, we provide the stability and care that young people need to help them get the best in life. We believe in childhood, we believe in love and we are there every step of the way.
Our fostering team
Our fostering service supports children from the age of five years, through to age 26. Depending on age, a young person will be supported by our Intensive Fostering Services (IFS), and when they reach the age of 21 they move into our Adult Placement Services (APS).
Many of the young people have had a difficult start in life, and as a result of past trauma need a helping hand to support them through this. Our fostering service is strengthened by Kibble’s range of support for young people including:
• psychological support and therapeutic care
• primary and secondary schools
• employability training
Each child or young person has a key worker – their go to person for all that they need, and a constant source of care and stability. Our friendly team supports both the young people and carers, going out on trips, helping with homework or just catching up over a hot chocolate.
Foster carers open their hearts and homes to the children and young people. They are there to help them grow, believe in themselves and their abilities, and above all to love and care. We work alongside foster carers providing; 24/7 support, full training, generous fees and allowances, and respite care. As a foster carer with Kibble, there will always be a great support network around you.
If you have what it takes to change a life, we would love to chat to you.
