Skillzone

Kibble offers Skillzone, a mixture of education, training and work experience for young people who are coming to the end of their school career.
The Skillzone curriculum is based on the Certificate of Personal Effectiveness qualification that has proved to be very successful in engaging young people who struggle to engage with a purely academic curriculum. It incorporates vocational tasks, health and fitness, community work, science and technology and community and charity work.
An important feature of Skillzone is the Skills for Work programme that focuses on employability skills. Young people benefit from trying out a variety of work experience opportunities in trades such as roofing and bricklaying and, as with the rest of the Skillzone programme, enjoy the benefits associated with work such as more self esteem and confidence, a sense of pride and achievement and a sense of purpose.
Kibble aims to secure the best learning experience for each young person that takes part and set them on the path to a brighter future.
