Knowledge Enrichment

As we develop this section of our website, it is out intention that it should become a network for “Knowledge Enrichment” where expertise, best practice and knowledge can be shared with colleagues at local, national and international levels.

For over a decade Kibble has been strongly committed to understanding the reasons why young people are referred to us.  This ongoing process is crucially important to allow us to refine the successful interventions we use to help young people reintegrate fully into society.  Kibble continues to look at “what works” and our entire range of services is evidence-based.  This evidence is drawn from national and international research and best practice in the field.

The Knowledge Enrichment Network will contain a wide range of resources on an open source basis.  Some examples are shown below:-

  • A list of current/proposed research being undertaken in-house and externally
  • Links to PDFs of research leaflets
  • Feedback from research conferences, and links to associated information
  • Summaries of completed research findings
  • Information about Kibble’s Research into Practice Forum
  • Information about Kibble’s Ethics Committee

Knowledge Enrichment will only happen if we are prepared to share our expertise and learn from each other.  We therefore encourage you to get in touch.  Contact elaine.harris@kibble.org or  carolynne.kelly@kibble.org or lesley.fuller@kibble.org
