Our Businesses
KibbleWorks is our collective of small social enterprises that provide training and employment to marginalised young people (16-24), particularly those leaving care or custody.
We have several businesses based at our KibbleWorks Campus:

Research shows that a period of unemployment of six months or more before the age of 25 has a scarring effect on a young person’s future. We work to prevent that happening to young people who have already experienced considerable disadvantage in their lives.
Placements at KibbleWorks offer the opportunity to learn the skills particular to each business but also to experience a positive work environment in which they can learn more general work skills such as timekeeping and prioritising tasks as well as achieve the self worth and satisfaction inherent in a good day’s work.
Through these structured placements, young people can prepare themselves for the world of work and independent living.
All KibbleWorks businesses operate as social enterprises, meaning that our primary purpose is to benefit society by setting young people on a path to a constructive life and any profits produced by our business is channeled into working to fulfil this purpose. To consolidate our position as a social enterprise, we subscribe to The Code, a voluntary code of contact for social enterprises in Scotland.
