THEY’RE all a ‘tache envious of care worker Donald Walker’s mega-mouser – and no wonder.
Donald is sporting a real humdinger of a Zapata moustache as he helps raise money and awareness for men’s health issues – especially prostate cancer -during the month of November, or Movember as those taking part call it.
He’s so far ahead of his fellow-fundraisers in growing his super-‘tache for charity some of them have had to resort to wearing false moustaches until they catch up. Donald and his colleagues from Kibble Education and Care Centre, in Paisley - James Booth, Andy Naylor, Mike McDonald, Gary Peebles, Keith Boyle, Willie Johnstone, Brian Robertson, John Wardhaugh, Dave Fenlon, Tony McLaughlan, John Austin and Duncan Easdale – are all taking part in the sponsored moustache growing month of November. And already they have pledges of more than £500 for the Movember men’s health partner, The Prostate Cancer Charity.
Donald says: ”I’m really proud of my moustache which has only taken me a couple of weeks to grow. I suppose you could say I’m more than a hair’s breadth ahead of everyone else in that time.
“It’s been great fun and it’s all for a good cause.” Kibble’s chief executive, Graham Bell said: “No one can accuse the staff at Kibble of being mous-erly when it comes to sponsoring their colleagues for charity. “The lads involved in the Kibble Tashers team are doing a great job and it’s all for a very worthy cause.”
