Kibble Receives Investors in People Silver Award

Date:
10/08/2011

Kibble was first accredited with the Investors in People Award approximately ten years ago.  From the outset, we have undertaken the Investors in People process firstly to have the confidence that we have the right approach and right attitude to how we support the staff in working together to offer the best possible service to the young people.  Secondly, by gaining the award the staff themselves can feel proud of their efforts in their day to day employment with Kibble.  Over the years, we have now been re-accredited on four occasions by IIP.  The accreditation process is achieved over a three-year period, with our performance being measured across each of the years and being collated into an overall composite score at the end of the three years.  On each occasion, our performance has improved.  Since we were originally accredited, IIP have introduced a grading system for organisations who achieve their recognition, with the best organisations across the UK receiving Bronze, Silver and Gold awards.  When we were re-accredited in May this year, Kibble was given a Silver award;  less than 2% of the organisations across the UK who have gained IIP recognition achieve either Silver or Gold status.  We can and hopefully will still improve as we embark on the next three-year period but we are very proud of the staff’s achievements in gaining this prestigious recognition.
