A glimpse at Kibble's VolunteeringWorks

Date:
04/04/2012

We have created an infographic to show some statistics of our VolunteeringWorks programme.

"Volunteering at Kibble is the best thing I have ever done."
(Volunteer)

VolunteeringWorks is a service that aims to bring together the young people in Kibble and the local community, through a range of volunteering opportunities.  These opportunities include an Independent Visitors’ Scheme where volunteers may visit and chat with a young person and perhaps share a hobby or interest.

“I have found the help of the volunteer invaluable. At times I feel a bit uncomfortable at ‘taking’ and not giving – but I hope the experience and my support is a small pay-off – thank you.”
(Staff Member)
