We offer a number of non-residential services at Kibble.

These operate as options or planned exits for young people moving on from residential care or to prevent them from becoming accommodated. The range includes:-

Day Services provide a full school curriculum for young people excluded from other educational settings. These placements offer extensive additional support for learning across a wide spectrum of need, as well as enhanced social work support to young people and their families.

AdvocacyWorks was developed in partnership with Youth Advocate Programs Inc (YAP) which is an American based organisation with considerable experience in this area of work both in America and also across Ireland and the south of England. The principal aim of this service is to support young people within their family home and their local community.

Kibble continues to look at ways of offering better throughcare and aftercare support to the young people as they return to the community. In the last few years, the development of a portfolio of social enterprises at KibbleWorks has offered employment training to young people who are about to complete or have concluded their formal education. Young people can remain in placement at KibbleWorks until they reach 18 years of age.

The organisation also offers placements within its Intensive Fostering Service (IFS) where young people are placed with families in the community but attend Kibble for their education. IFS provides an integrated service that gives a high level of support to carers who foster young people with challenging behaviour. Intensive Fostering can provide the care and support missing from a young person's life at a time when they need it most.

VolunteeringWorks is a comprehensive volunteer service which will focus on providing volunteers for the Safe Centre as well as placements at KibbleWorks for Project Scotland volunteers.
