NetWorks will provide Internet Radio podcasts from the Kibble Community to other communities around the world.
The station will stream a variety of shows scripted, edited, presented and produced by the young person. The listener base will include other social enterprises, other child and youthcare organisations, not for profit organisations and the wider public in and around Renfrewshire, and the world!
The young person will record radio shows for Internet streaming, using a range of software. They will learn to mix music with voice in a professional manner, create podcasts, advertising jingles and information packages.
The young person will be skilled in a number of areas including the recording of music and voice, mixing music, using music software, be introduced to advertising and will develop a range of soft skills including time management, people skills and team work.
I have a degree in audio technology with multimedia. This is my first position, although I have previously worked in Internet Radio projects within the community.
