PromoWorks offers design and manufacture of promotional products including; T-Shirts, mugs, mouse mats and bags.
We take on large orders from companies and charities as well as individuals requiring just one personalised product.
The young person working within PromoWorks will work alongside myself on a daily basis, learning all aspects of printing promotional products, from initial design processes on computers, to manual screen printing and illustration methods.
The young person will gain good practical, transferable skills, such as computer aided design, manual screen printing processes, cleaning and maintenance of machinery. He will also benefit by gaining soft skills including time management, customer care, team work and working to deadlines.
I trained as a Textile Designer at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design. Upon graduating, I set up my own small business, designing and manufacturing fashion accessories. Whilst doing this I began to teach art to various charities and schools. I saw the post at KibbleWorks advertised, and thought
it would be a great opportunity to combine all my previous skills together in one job!
